Activities
I'm an observational oceanographer, driven to improve our understanding of the ocean’s role in the climate system and its evolving dynamics under the pressures of global environmental change.
My research spans from small-scale mixing processes to large-scale circulation and ocean-atmosphere-ice interactions, adopting a multidisciplinary approach that combines multi-platform observations, remote sensing and complementary reanalysis datasets.
As a physical oceanographer, I am well-versed in the acquisition, processing, and analysis of hydrographic data from a range of sources, including in-situ observations, reanalyses, and satellite-derived data.
Additionally, I am an experienced communicator, skilled in scientific and technical reporting and multilingual translation, with an active interest in raising awareness of ocean and climate change issues, and in promoting FAIR and CARE data principles.
